Store Log Flog App Helps Self-Storage Users Track Unit Inventory

Article-Store Log Flog App Helps Self-Storage Users Track Unit Inventory

Dominic Willson, a construction and self-storage entrepreneur, introduced Store Log Flog, an app that helps self-storage customers create a virtual space and inventory cards to track their stored items. The technology is an additional service facility operators can offer to their tenants, according to a press release.

The app creates a digital replica of a customer’s self-storage unit. The user can then leverage the “logit” inventory cards for an instantly accessible record of which items are stored and where. The app also contains a chat feature that allows operators to communicate with renters or notify them of company news.

“I’d long thought about how the industry could harness new technologies and how could they be used to enable self-store customers to log their items, get them valued and even auction them off—something users can also do through the app,” said Willson, who owns a storage facility in Uppingham, Rutland, England. “As a storage-business owner, I’m in the perfect position to see the benefit of having additional services to offer customers. It’s not simply about adding value and providing something new, it’s about giving [storage] owners and customers the opportunity to record and locate the items they have in storage.”

The app is available for download in the Apple Storage or Google Play.
