Tenant Inc., a developer of real estate technology, has created an application programming interface (API) between its Hummingbird property-management software and the call-center services provided by XPS Solutions. The API will create a “centralized rental ecosystem” that allows XPS agents to handle customer calls on behalf of self-storage operators who use Hummingbird, according to a press release.
The integration allows XPS agents to see the facility operator’s inventory, pricing and discounts, as well as property-protection and tenant-insurance plans, so they can guide customers through the unit-rental process. They can also take customer payments, set up autopay, and leave notes in tenant accounts for site managers, the release stated.
The API is powered through Nectar, Tenant Inc.’s proprietary global-distribution system. “The vision we had with Nectar was to open up successful integrations to position partners’ products for success. I’m excited because this is our first large commercial integration of Nectar, and it shows that our vision of what it could be has arrived,” said Tenant Inc. CEO Lance Watkins.
Headquartered in Newport Beach, California, Tenant Inc. offers a platform designed to create customizable solutions for self-storage operators, including property-management software, website technology, digital-marketing services and more.
