Storage Pros Management LLC (SPM), which owns and manages 26 self-storage facilities, has promoted John D. Price III to president. He previously served as the company’s chief financial officer and executive vice president. His responsibilities now include overall responsibility for all operational aspects of SPM as well as finance and accounting, acquisitions, dispositions, and asset management.
Price led the improvement of numerous aspects of SPM’s performance, and instituted enhanced processes and controls, according to a company press release. He also built a scalable platform that facilitated significant growth and strategic dispositions of company assets, totaling in excess of $500 million.
“John’s ever-growing contributions and accomplishments at Storage Pros have reached across all facets of the company,” said CEO David M. Levenfeld. “This promotion is the next logical step for John to take an increased leadership role at SPM. I’m confident that the company and all of its stakeholders will benefit from John’s enhanced responsibilities.”
Founded in 2007, SPM operates facilities in the Midwest, New England and the Southeast. Its properties comprise more than 1.4 million square feet of storage space. SPM properties are managed by CubeSmart, a third-party property management company and real estate investment trust.
