PTI Security Systems, a provider of access-control and security solutions for the self-storage industry, has added a cloud version of its StorLogix software. StorLogix Cloud allows self-storage operators to remotely control and monitor access to multiple locations from any Internet-connected device, according to the company website.
Other benefits include real-time data backups and disaster retrieval, automated software updates, and the ability to view current or historical activity for any tenant. Users can receive real-time notifications of activity on any site as well as use the platform to customize access-control layouts for multiple sites from a single account.
PTI manufactures technology-enabled security solutions. Its product line includes access-control hardware and software, wired and wireless door alarms, and mobile-access solutions. The company has installed more than 37,000 systems in 30-plus countries. It operates through two U.S. locations as well as distributors in Asia, Australia and Europe.
