Store Here Self Storage, which operates 29 facilities in seven states, has hired industry veteran Tron Jordheim as business development manager. Jordheim most recently served as chief marketing officer of StorageMart, which owns and operates 170 storage facilities in the United States and Canada, and director of PhoneSmart, which provides call-center services and sales training to the self-storage industry.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to have Tron work with our group to grow our third-party administration services,” James J. Hanrahan, managing partner of acquisitions for Store Here, said in a press release. “Our platform and management services are offered nationwide. With just a few bits of information or a thorough site potential analysis, including budgeting and disposition potential, we can show owners how much they are leaving on the table.”
"Store Here is in a unique position to grow its third-party management services, and the trends in the industry are all supporting the further adoption of professional, nationwide management for local and regional storage operators,” Jordheim said. “I have known the principals at Store Here for many years, and have always hoped for an opportunity to work with them more closely."
Jordheim has consulted for many storage companies in his career. He’s also a frequent speaker at self-storage events and a contributor to industry trade publications. Prior to joining StorageMart, he managed one of Culligan’s top U.S. bottled-water franchises.
Store Here Self Storage currently operates 29 facilities totaling more than 2 million square feet in California, Colorado, Texas, Georgia, Indiana, Kansas and Louisiana. Its portfolio is managed by Store Here Management LLC, a property-management and investment company with an acquisition and analysis division focusing on the self-storage industry. Its operating partner, RHW Capital Management Group, was founded in 2012 by industry veterans with more than 70 years of combined experience to provide a stable source of funding and management, according to a previous company press release.
