OpenTech Alliance Inc., a Phoenix-based provider of self-serve kiosks, call-center services and other technology for self-storage businesses, has released version 2.0 of INSOMNIAC XpressCollect, the company’s cloud-based text-messaging service that sends automatic payment reminders to self-storage tenants.
The company launched XpressCollect last year after acquiring TXT Collector SMS from Hub Media Marketing. The new version was built on OpenTech’s cloud platform and leverages OpenPortal to enable easy setup of the service for self-storage managers, company officials said in a press release. It now integrates with an increased number of management-software systems from providers such as DOMICO, QuikStor Security & Software, SiteLink and Yardi Systems Inc.
Updates under Version 2.0 include customizable collection timelines and workflow; detailed documentation on collection-related notifications; multi-channel communication via e-mail, text and an optional Live Call module; and validation of tenant contact information. The Live Call module enables managers to initiate and record outbound phone calls as well as track results, according to the release.
OpenTech provides several models of INSOMNIAC self-serve kiosks as well as a range of self-storage rental solutions including the INSOMNIAC Live! Call Center, INSOMNIAC Online Web and mobile applications, LiveAgent! software products, and the INSOMNIAC ILock Security System, all available through the company's self-storage cloud.
