XPS Solutions, a provider of Web-based reservations services and other outsourced technology solutions for the self-storage industry, has released a new product and announced a staff promotion.

The company’s new Competitive Market Audit Program provides independent self-storage operators with access to its market research and development data, which can help them know if their marketing strategies are actually translating to rental conversions, according to a company press release. It can also show operators how their site directly compares to the competition. To support this product, XPS launched a new website where facility operators can submit their information and find out if they qualify to access the audit data.

XPS also promoted Michael Roberts to executive vice president of business development and operations. Roberts has 17 years of sales-management experience and has been with XPS for eight years. He’s been an integral part of the company’s business development and made fundamental contributions that have helped shape the organization, according to the release.

“Michael knows the self-storage industry. He knows what works and what doesn’t, and is able to critically analyze exactly what independent self-storage owners need to succeed and grow their business. His knowledge and experience are essential to our team as we continue to innovate the solutions we offer to our clients,” Traver said.

XPS provides digital call recording, lead tracking, Web-chat support, search engine optimization services, Web hosting and data analysis for the self-storage industry. The company relocated to Richardson, Texas, in June to increase its capacity 50 percent. The headquarters serves as a sales and support center for thousands of independent self-storage sites.
