The Omaha-Council Bluffs, Neb.-Iowa, metropolitan statistical area (MSA) is the 60th -largest MSA in the United States. Eight counties, five in Nebraska and three across the Missouri River in Iowa, form this MSA. The areas growing economy, primarily based on agriculture, is diversified to include such industries as banking, insurance, telecommunications, architecture/construction and transportation.
