The Storage Group (TSG), an Internet-marketing company that serves the self-storage industry, has added two new features to its ClickandStor online-rental tool. Self-storage operators can now define their units as “Good,” “Better” and “Best,” and display corresponding pricing. They can also draw and display 3D facility maps down to the unit level, according to a press release.
TSG first integrated its 3D mapping and unit pricing last year, along with dynamic-pricing software from Veritec Solutions. The enhancements are now available directly through the ClickandStor suite. “We are excited to offer storage facilities valued, tiered pricing as a beneficial revenue enhancement tool,” said TSG CEO Steve Lucas. “By marking the price of units as good, better and best, and showing a percent increase or decrease for that unit size, it drives urgency for the tenant to act upon a specified unit.”
The augmentation to the system’s map-drawing tool allows storage operators to create 3D facility maps even if their property-management software doesn’t support it, the release stated. “After they easily draw their facility in the performance dashboard, they can personalize it with helpful unit descriptions that tenants find important, such as ‘located by the elevator,’” Lucas said.
Based in Altamonte Springs, Fla., TSG provides online tools and marketing solutions including local-listing management, mobile websites, online rentals, pay-per-click advertising, search engine optimization, social media marketing, and software and website development.
