Self-Storage Data & Mapping Solutions (SSDMS), a cloud-based self-storage tracking service launched in 2017 by marketing company Pac-Comm, has added several new features and upgraded others for 2019. New features include bi-monthly supply updates and a third-generation drive-time search algorithm, according to a press release. SSDMS has also expanded its emphasis on new projects within the first 120 days of development, and improved U.S. Census demographic search times and search engine coverage.
Service upgrades include unlimited map-data exports, identification of emerging self-storage niche markets, Google-based radius/drive-time search options, weekly updates to Google Street View, a terrain option for viewing Google maps, and tracking information to more than 750 U.S. markets. SSDMS now tracks more than 47,000 self-storage facilities, the release stated.
SSDMS is a division of McLean, Va.-based Pac-Comm, which specializes in “marketing-solution” programs as well as data processing, enhancement, hygiene and other data-related services.
