The Storage Group (TSG), an Internet-marketing company serving the self-storage industry, has released a 2015 update to its ClickandStor move-in platform. The product is now designed to integrate seamlessly with operator websites, rather than take customers to a new URL to complete their rental transaction. The update also includes an auto-pay function, Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments and the ability to offer special promotions.
To accommodate a rise in mobile transactions, the new version also automatically reformats to fit the user’s device, TSG officials said in a press release.
“We are most excited by our recent changes,” said Steve Lucas, chief operations officer. “Our analytics have showed us that 51 percent of new rentals through ClickandStor are occurring during office hours, which shows that a great many potential customers are interested in accomplishing their goal without calling or coming in to talk with a manager. Our new, improved version is making it so much easier for them to do just that.”
Operators can use ClickandStor to have customers digitally sign a lease or temporary license agreement. Once a lease is signed and paid for, the program provides tenants with a gate code and unit number. Operators who prefer to restrict 24-hour move-ins can use the platform to secure tenants and payments but require them to visit a facility during office hours to complete the move-in process, according to the release.
Based in Maitland, Fla., TSG provides online tools and marketing solutions to the self-storage industry. The company's customized services include mobile websites, website development, content management, search engine optimization, online rentals, pay-per-click marketing and transparent reporting/analysis.
