Inside Self-Storage (ISS) has launched its new Vendor Locator, an online marketplace for industry products, services and suppliers. The portal is designed as a one-stop shop through which facility operators, investors and developers can research, evaluate and purchase the items they need to create and operate a successful self-storage business. Users can learn information about specific companies, watch vendor videos, download resource materials, and send inquiries and messages.
“ISS is about bringing operators and suppliers together. One way to think about the Vendor Locator is as a continuous, online tradeshow at which the companies represented are the largest, most prominent booths on the show floor,” said Troy Bix, vice president. “Now buyers can discover the solutions they need to make their businesses profitable without ever leaving the comfort and convenience of the office.”
The Vendor Locator homepage features a dedicated section for featured suppliers. Customers can click on a supplier logo to open that provider’s dedicated resources page. A search tool is also available to help users quickly generate desired results by company name, product or service category, or geographic location.
Preset categories are representative of the most prominent product and services types within the self-storage industry. Each has its own landing page populated with the vendors related to the category.
In addition to accessing supplier resources, users can click to request further information, link directly to company websites, and view detailed lists of each vendor’s product and service areas.
The Vendor Locator is free for all users, with no registration required.
For nearly 25 years, ISS has provided informational resources for the self-storage industry. Its educational offerings include ISS magazine, the annual ISS Expo, an extensive website, the ISS Store, and Self-Storage Talk, the industry’s largest online community.
