Inside Self-Storage honored two of its 2006 scholarship recipients at the Las Vegas Expo yesterday, during the opening of its Prime-Time Open Forum. The event, taking place at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, Feb. 28-March 3, is the largest self-storage tradeshow in history. Chad Plunkett and Nicholas Walker were present to receive congratulations from ISS staff and Prime-Time presenters Jim Chiswell and Joe Niemczyk.
Chad is a student at San Antonio College. His ambition is to become a film director or producer. He learned about the ISS scholarship through his father, Charles Plunkett, who is owner and president of Artistic Builders Inc. and Capco Steel Inc., based in San Antonio.
Nick attends the University of San Diego, where he currently majors in business. His father, Robert Walker, is the co-owner of Kiwi II Construction.
