Horizontal Lift Co., manufacturer of the patented Horizontal Lift System for portable-storage containers, has introduced a new container-attachment method. The company’s receiver attachment uses a container’s existing receivers, traditionally used to add wheels for tilt lifting, according to a press release. Operators can now use their same fleet of containers without any modification to lift without tilting, the release stated.
Horizontal Lift was founded by system inventor Jack Johnson, whose no-tilt lift is designed to adapt to portable-storage containers from various manufacturers. The system works with 16- to 20-foot-long containers up to 8 feet wide. It’s controlled hydraulically and can lift up to 10,000 pounds, according to the company website.
