Valet Storage, a startup company offering valet self-storage services in the Austin, Texas, market, has partnered with Austin-based AAA Storage, a traditional self-storage operator. The collaboration will allow AAA to offer pickup and delivery services to its customers, according to a press release.
"We are very excited to get this new partnership going," said Tomas Louda, founder and CEO of Valet. "With the help of an established operator, we can further extend our product offering to our customers and introduce to the market something unique."
"We like what Valet Storage has to offer to our clients," added John Munich, president of AAA. "They have a great team, solid vision and, with a mutual partnership, we can move the industry forward."
During its 25-year history in the self-storage industry, AAA has developed and operated more than 30 facilities in Florida, Illinois, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Today its portfolio includes 14 locations in Texas, with additional properties in Florida and Oklahoma, according to its website.
"We are growing fast, and strategic partners are extremely important to us,” Louda said.
In addition to Austin, Valet offers storage pickup and delivery services to the communities of Cedar Park, Lakeway and Pflugerville, Texas. The company was accepted last month into the Newchip Accelerator, an Austin-based Web and mobile investment platform that connects startups with investors.
