Janus International, a global manufacturer and supplier of building components and security technology for the self-storage industry, has introduced a full line of Asta America rolling, steel doors for commercial and industrial applications. The line comprises a variety of models, sizes and options, including slat doors, fire-rated doors and shutters, counter shutters, rolling grilles, and heavy-duty and insulated service doors, according to a press release.
“We’re very excited about the full line of rolling, steel products that are now being offered to our customers, and the potential it has to help [them] strengthen their position in the commercial and industrial door markets,” said Dennis Owens, director of commercial sales. “With the addition of rolling, steel doors to our product offering, we can better serve our markets and provide superior solutions to virtually any commercial application.”
In a related move, Janus has also expanded its manufacturing capabilities to include powder coating and polyurethane insulation. Powder coating will allow the company to create Asta doors in virtually any color, while insulation offers thermal efficiency, the release stated.
Headquartered in Temple, Ga., and founded in 2002, Janus sells roll-up and swing doors, hallway systems, and re-locatable storage units. It also has a technology division designed to help self-storage operators automate facility operation, improve security, and create a more convenient customer experience. It operates 10 U.S. locations as well as manufacturing facilities in Europe and Mexico. Janus is owned by Clearlake Capital Group LP, a California-based private-equity firm.
