Carrollton, Ga.-based Sauls Storage Group LLC (SSG) has acquired Commercial Realty Services of West Georgia, a commercial brokerage and consulting firm specializing in West Georgia self-storage properties. SSG is run by the mother-and-son team of Jane H. Sauls and Luke Sauls, who have served as real estate advisors for Commercial Realty. They’ll continue to conduct business under the Commercial Realty name, according to a press release.
Founded in 2006 by retired military armor officer Mike Patterson, Commercial Realty became an affiliate of Argus Self Storage Advisors in 2012. Argus is a Denver-based network of real estate brokers who specialize in storage properties. Patterson will continue to serve clients, the release stated.
Jane Sauls has been in commercial real estate since 2006. She has also owned and developed large and small self-storage facilities, engaging in all aspects of development and operation. Prior to joining Commercial Realty in 2018, she was a financial controller for asset portfolios valued at more than $35 million for several industries, including self-storage, retail sales, call centers, timber companies and real estate development. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of West Georgia, and holds a Certified Commercial Investment Member designation.
Luke Sauls is a graduate of LaGrange College Accountancy. He has been involved with self-storage since he began cleaning unit doors at age 10 as part of his family’s operation. He became a self-storage broker in January 2018.
Formed in 1994, Argus has 36 broker affiliates covering nearly 40 markets.
