Trachte Building Systems, a manufacturer and supplier of pre-engineered steel building systems, has partnered with Inside Self-Storage to provide a free, four-part webinar series open to all industry professionals. The online seminars, focusing on self-storage construction trends, will take place throughout 2008.
The first web event, “Trends in Self-Storage Construction: Getting Past the Architectural Review Board,” will take place on Thursday, Feb. 21, 2-3 p.m. ET. Presenter Jamie Lindau, Trachte’s national sales manager, will address the hurdles self-storage developers face when attempting to get projects approved by local planning commissions. He’ll discuss strategies for navigating the review-board process and creating facilities that get the green light. Topics will include architectural enhancements, custom designs and site layout.
Future events will take place on May 22 (multi-story building), July 24 (building conversions) and September 18 (self-storage construction 101). Detailed titles and descriptions for these events will be announced soon.
