Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), a property-management and consulting firm serving the self-storage industry, has hired Kevin Bledsoe as its brokerage advisor. Bledsoe will assist with real estate listings, sales, buyer representation, due diligence, financial analysis and feasibility studies for the company’s properties in the northeast and mid-Atlantic regions. He previously worked for IRE as a district manager from 2007 to 2010.
“It is great to be working with Kevin again, and I welcome him back to the team,” said John Gilliland, president and CEO. “Kevin will be a great asset to our team. Our customers on both the seller’s and buyer’s side of a sale will benefit considerably from his vast operations knowledge within the industry.”
Most recently, Bledsoe was the director of operations for Storage Asset Management (SAM), another self-storage -management and consulting firm, where he was responsible for operating a large portfolio, according to an IRE press release. Prior to SAM, he spent a decade working with mid-size to large storage operators, responsible for the operation of more than 100 properties. Bledsoe has a bachelor’s degree in business marketing from Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania.
“I have spent a decade analyzing self-storage properties for ownership groups and helping them improve their bottom line through improved operations plans,” Bledsoe said. “I’m excited about the opportunity to bring this level of experience to Investment Real Estate and the clients we serve on the brokerage side of the business. I am confident that I will bring beneficial industry knowledge to our current and future clients.”
Since its inception in 1998, IRE has provided brokerage, construction, management and development services to self-storage owners and investors.
