For the second consecutive year, Steel Storage, a provider of self-storage design and construction services, along with other industry vendors, will host the Self-Storage Expo Asia in Hong Kong, March 26-27, 2014. Amid growing consumer demand for self-storage services in the region, the event is designed for professionals with interest in building, owning or operating a self-storage business in Asia, including investors and new and established operators.

As Asias property prices increase year on year and consumerism seemingly to be an unstoppable force, more and more of Asias 4 billion inhabitants move steadily towards the middle-income class, show organizers said via selfstorageexpoasia.com. With it comes a transition to modern living, and self-storage is a proven and necessary part of this modernization.

Steel Storage founder Jonathan Perrins, who is credited with creating the event, is also scheduled to speak.

Show sponsor PTI Security Systems, a provider of integrated hardware security solutions for self-storage facilities worldwide, will host an information and training session on the importance of access control and security. Presenters include Lance Comstock, PTI president, and Benjamin Parsad, manager of sales and technical support for PTI Australasia.
