Patriot Self Storage of North Port, Fla., held grand-opening celebrations at both of its locations in April, awarding several prizes to winners of weekend-long drawings.
Jane and Steve Wiederhold won the grand prize―a big-screen TV―and Mary Costa won an iPod. Six months of free rent at the storage business went to Tamera Thompsen. In addition, visors and golf balls were given to Mary Bent, Gary Gould, Hilda Irvin and Anna Rodriguez. Bob Anthony, Ken Campbell and John McCabe won Patriot Self Storage polo shirts.
The weekend events included free food, rock climbing, pet shows, reptile exhibits, a clown, pony rides, a bounce house and slides, pottery painting by Bisque It, and a live remote by Clear Channel 92.1.
