BayView Advisors, a Tampa, Fla.-based investment-sales and advisory firm focused on the self-storage industry, has changed its name to SkyView Advisors. The new operating name will better suit the nationwide service the company provides to its clients, according to a press release.
"We have had such success growing in the marketplace, it seemed out of place to have a name that limits us geographically,” said Jay J. Crotty, managing partner. “We are extremely proud of our Tampa Bay roots, however, we now have a dominant presence in the Midwest and a rapidly growing presence in the mid-Atlantic and Northeast. SkyView better represents who we are now and how we want to grow.”
SkyView’s team also includes Thomas Doyle, senior vice president of the Southeast; Ryan Clark, senior vice president of the Midwest; and Noel Cain, managing partner of financing.
"Our team and the services we provide are only expected to grow and will continue with the updated name. We will continue to be the one-stop shop for self-storage owners with the excellence and experience that has come to be expected of us," Crotty said.
Launched last year, SkyView is a boutique firm specializing in self-storage acquisition, development, facility expansion and renovation, refinancing, and sales. It has offices in Cleveland, Milwaukee and Tampa, Fla.
