A lot has changed since '01. For one, the ISS Web presence is HUGE! Blogs, webinars, e-books, a newsletter and now Self-Storage Talk you can spend days traversing the ISS website.
Another place of growth is the ISS Expo. Last weeks trip to Vegas was my first experience with this show. Wow! Consider me impressed. Not just by the amazing amount of activities organized by our tradeshow department, but also by the sheer number of storage people who attended. The keynote was packed. Seminars seats were filled. Hands were raised and people congregated around the speakers to ask more questions. During exhibit hours, crowds gathered around booths big and small.
If youve never been to an ISS Expo, youre missing a golden opportunity. In addition to learning about new products and services, youll meet and learn from an array of knowledgeable people. These guys and gals know their stuffmarketing, management, legal, taxes, software, financing. And if youre thinking about getting into self-storage, ISS Expo is the place to start.
