The William Warren Group (WWG), a privately held real estate company that operates the StorQuest Self Storage brand, reached a company milestone by opening its 200th location. The multi-story property is in Walnut Creek, Calif.
“We’re incredibly proud to be 200 StorQuest locations strong,” said founder and CEO Bill Hobin. “But I’m even more proud of the nearly 500 members of our team spread across the country who create an awesome experience for our guests and partners, and deliver excellent results to our investors. Every number tells a story, and this milestone is just the beginning of our next adventure.”
Hobin also attributed the company’s success to its “best of both worlds” appeal for independent self-storage operators seeking professional facility management. “We offer the experience and sophistication of the largest players in the industry, while providing the hands-on involvement, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit of a nimble startup. The choice is simple,” he said.
“We’ve always seen ourselves as more than just a solution for storing your stuff,” added Gary Sugarman, chief operating officer. “We help our guests get the most out of life. It’s no wonder we have over 55,000 rave reviews on Google and Yelp.”
The StorQuest philosophy is to “Make Room for Awesome,” according to a press release. It’s an ethos WWG activates across its operating platform, which features proprietary revenue-management technology, digital marketing and an in-house sales center.
Founded in 1994 and based in Santa Monica, Calif., WWG acquires, develops and manages self-storage facilities in 16 states.
