Gulf Warehousing Co. QPSC (GWC), a provider of logistics and supply-chain solutions, has opened GWC Self Storage in Doha, Qatar. It’s part of GWC Bu Sulba Warehousing Park, a 500,000-square-meter project made possible through a partnership between GWC and the local government, which supports small and mid-size enterprises via flexible warehousing solutions, according to the source.
Accessed through Sabah al-Ahmed Road, the self-storage facility offers climate-controlled units, 24-hour access and security. Additionally, customers have access to the company’s transport, packaging, forklift operations, freight, customs clearance and insurance services when moving into a unit, the source stated.
“GWC will always seek every opportunity to satisfy the growing needs of Qatar’s population, offering them convenience and peace of mind,” said CEO Ranjeev Menon. “GWC builds its new solutions with the highest standards of safety and technology, while customer centricity remaining at the heart of everything we do.”
Established as a Qatari shareholding company in 2004, GWC offers solutions to a variety of industry verticals including aviation, banking, government, oil and gas, retail, and shipping. Its warehouse also offers frozen, chilled, air-conditioned, dry and open-yard storage.
