Metro Storage LLC, which operates more than 135 self-storage properties in 14 states, has promoted Steve Tserkezis to the newly created position of director of revenue management. Tserkezis has been employed with Metro since 2015 and previously served as revenue manager. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for directing and overseeing the company’s revenue-management systems, optimizing existing strategies and creating new ones, according to a press release.
“Steve has added tremendous depth and sophistication to our revenue-management processes and introduced new ideas to our operations. His cross-functional involvement with all levels within the organization provides him great insight and aids in the development of new strategies,” said Martin Gallagher, chief operations officer and president. “Steve’s role has a direct impact on the performance of our properties and contributes to our success.”
Prior to joining Metro, Tserkezis worked at various publicly traded Fortune 500 companies. He has extensive experience in statistical process improvement, data science and revenue management, and has worked internationally on multiple continents.
Tserkezis earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin, and a Master of Science from Northwestern University. He’s also fluent in multiple languages.

The privately owned, fully integrated real estate company specializes in the acquisition, development and management of self-storage facilities in Brazil, Central America and the United States.
