Update 12/21/18 – Titan has opened another Extra Space self-storage facility in New Mexico. The two-building property at Corrales Road and Highway 528 in Rio Rancho comprises 88,032 square feet. It’s the second asset to be completed through Titan Development Real Estate Fund I, according to the source.
The facility offers climate-controlled and drive-up units as well as boat/RV storage. It features electronic access, perimeter fencing, a retail center with moving and packing supplies, and video cameras for security.
Two more Titan fund facilities are expected to open in New Mexico in January.
11/13/18 – Real estate developer Titan Development has opened a new self-storage facility in Santa Fe, N.M. The two-story building at 2977 Rodeo Park Drive E. comprises 101,000 square feet of climate-controlled space. The site will be managed by self-storage real estate investment trust Extra Space Storage Inc. and branded under its name.
ARCO/Murray Design Build provided the architectural and engineering design, permitting and construction, according to a press release. Logan Castille was the project manager and Matt Pitzen was the project supervisor. Rodeo Park is one of four projects the company will complete for Titan in New Mexico this year.
Titan and Extra Space have six self-storage projects underway in Arizona and New Mexico. Together, they comprise about 570,000 square feet in approximately 4,200 units.
