The professional cycling team sponsored by SmartStop Self Storage, the retail brand for Strategic Storage Trust Inc., has named its roster for the 2013 season. Among the riders on this years SmartStop-Mountain Khakis Professional Cycling Team is Canadian national criterium champion Ben Chaddock.
Chaddock is a former downhill ski racer who had his Olympic dream curtailed due to childhood asthma. He established the B.I.K.E.S foundation as a way to promote physical fitness, positive goal-setting and overcoming asthma. He works regularly with schoolchildren, offering them exposure to sports and exercise as a way to promote living a healthy lifestyle.

The cycling team also signed Italian bicycle maker Wilier Triestina as a new sponsor.

Additional 2013 riders include Thomas Brown, Jon Hamblen, Isaac Howe, Shane Kline, Travis Livermon, Chris Monteleone, Clay Murfet, Daniel Patten, Frank Travieso, Chris Uberti and Curtis Winsor.
Last years team finished second in the nation for the season-long National Challenge Competition competition, behind only international powerhouse United Health Care.
