DBCI, a manufacturer of self-storage roll-up doors and other building components, has promoted Bray Allen, who will now head the company’s estimating and inside sales departments. In the new role, Allen will focus on efficiency and customer-service advancements, according to a company press release.
Bray began his career with DBCI in 2004 as an inside-sales representative. Since then, he’s held positions in customer service, sales, and research and development (R&D). While acting as R&D manager, Allen led the creation of the company’s Curl-Lok door technology, which allows doors to be constructed of replaceable panels. His technical expertise, knowledge and leadership skills will serve him well in his new role, the release stated.
Allen serves as chairman of the Sheet Door Committee and vice chairman of the Rolling Door Division for the Door and Access Systems Manufacturers Association.
DBCI designs and manufactures commercial-grade, steel roll-up doors as well as frames and panels, wall systems, interior-hallway systems, mezzanine systems, portable-storage units, and wine lockers. Headquartered in Douglasville, Ga., the company also operates production facilities in Chandler, Ariz., and Houston.
