Bin It, a startup business specializing in valet self-storage and moving-bin rentals, has launched service in Nashville, New York City and Philadelphia. The company uses a mobile app and online platform that allows customers to schedule item pickup, maintain a visual catalog of stored bins and bulky items, and schedule delivery of items to their home.

Similar to other valet-style storage operators, Bin It offers by-the-bin storage targeted at residents who don’t have adequate home storage. Items are stored in a secure facility, according to the company website. Pricing starts at $25 per month and $6.25 per month per bin. Pricing per wardrobe box and oversized items, such as golf clubs or skis, is $12.25 per month. Delivery fees begin at $19.99 with 48-hour notice.

Customers can store images of their items in the Bin It app. When they need a particular item or bin, they can click on the corresponding image to schedule home delivery.

Moving customers who don’t require storage can also just rent the bins. Costs for this service vary by city. Delivery and pickup of bins used for moving purposes is free, according to the website. Moving-bin packages accommodate a range of residences, from mini-dwellings to four-bedroom homes.
