A self-storage customer who says she fell on a patch of ice nearly two years ago at Route 33 Self Storage in Lower Nazareth Township, Pa., is suing the business for more than $50,000 in damages. Amy Fox of Bethlehem Township, Pa., filed the civil suit in Northampton County Court on Wednesday.

The suit also names R.A.B. Management Corp., which operates the facility, and owner Raymond A. Bartolacci Jr. as defendants.

The suit claims Fox fell on an accumulation of ice on Jan. 28, 2011, as she was walking to her storage unit. The suit also alleges the ice was caused by "a faulty roof drainage system" and allowed to exist "for a long period of time." Fox is suing the facility for negligence and carelessness, according to the filing.

Fox suffered a concussion and sprains to her back and neck, and continues to suffer back spasms, migraines, sensitivity to light, nausea, dizziness and memory loss, according to the suit.
