Cheyenne Stump, an employee of Investment Real Estate LLC (IRE), received a Self Storage Association (SSA) Foundation Scholarship. The program awards $1,000 to $5,000 toward postsecondary education tuition and fees based on need and scholastic achievement. In addition, recipients must be employees or children of employees from companies that are members of the SSA, according to the scholarship website.
Stump began working part time as a database assistant for IRE earlier this year. She’s responsible for keeping the database updated with current information on self-storage owners and potential clients. She was also employed part time over the summer as a relief manager for Moove In Self Storage, which is operated by Investment Real Estate Management, the firm’s management division. In this role, she worked alongside the management team facilitating daily operations at several locations.
Stump is majoring in accounting at Penn State Harrisburg. “Thanks to this scholarship, I am able to further my education with less stress over the financials of college, and move closer to my graduation and the beginning of my career,” she said. “It’s an honor for me to accept this scholarship and be affiliated with the teamwork and core values of the IRE team. They are a great company to work for.”
Since its inception in 1998, IRE has provided brokerage, construction, development and management services to self-storage owners and investors.
