Don Willis, director of sales and marketing for Storage West Self Storage, will be the featured speaker at an Arizona Interactive Marketing Association (AZIMA) event on Sept. 22 at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort & Villas in Scottsdale, Ariz. AZIMA is a nonprofit association that provides interactive marketing education and networking in Arizona.
Willis’ seminar, "Two to Tango: Unraveling the Complicated Relationship of Social and SEO,” begins at 7 p.m. It will cover how search and social media marketing teams can use their skills and knowledge to complement and amplify their respective marketing efforts.
Willis has been involved in marketing and sales for most of his professional career, and has presented at various marketing events. He has more than 15 years of search engine optimization (SEO) and Internet-marketing experience, and built a social-media marketing plan for Storage West, according to a company press release.
AZIMA hosts 12 events annually featuring a variety of guest speakers. Past presenters include Jay Baer, social media expert and author of “Youtility;” Jonathan Salem Baskins, an author and columnist for “Forbes” and “Advertising Age;” Rand Fishkin, CEO of Moz; Joe Pulizzi, founder of the Content Marketing Institute; Danny Sullivan, editor-in-chief of “Search Engine Land;” and Marty Weintraub, CEO of aimClear.
Storage West Self Storage is a division of LAACO Ltd., a California limited partnership that acquires, builds and develops self-storage facilities. The company owns 52 facilities in Arizona, California, Nevada and Texas.
