Lock & Leave Self Storage of Kent, England, will be the headline sponsor for the KM Big Charity Quiz, April 22, at the University of Kent Sports Centre in Canterbury, England. The fundraiser supports the educational services delivered by the KM Charity Team, which offers a variety of programs and resources to local schools.
The KM Big Charity Quiz hosts four quiz nights each year, with the top teams from each event invited to the county final in December. The events have raised thousands of dollars for various charities over the years, according to the organization’s website.
“It provides a fun-filled night for all involved and offers a variety of rounds, which will really brain-tease!” said Dan Wells, property manager for Lock & Leave of Kent.
The Canterbury event will benefit the Pilgrims Hospices, the League of Friends at Kent and Canterbury Hospital, and child road-safety initiatives. “Part of our commitment to supporting the local community is to offer aid to good causes directly benefitting our residency. The KM Big Charity Quiz provides vital fundraising for charities and foundations, which [is] of the utmost importance to the people of Kent,” Wells said.
The event will also feature a raffle and prizes, such as a chance to win Eurostar tickets. Each team must include eight people, and a table costs £65. Accounting firm MHA MacIntyre Hudson and Shepherd Neame, a brewer based in Faversham, Kent, are also sponsors.
Lock & Leave operates four properties in Kent, Middlesex and Surrey, England, as well as London. In addition to self-storage, the facilities also offer works space for small businesses.
