U.K.-based Dainton Self Storage will sponsor “Big Noise Chorus,” an annual charitable event held at Ugbrooke House, a historical estate in Chudleigh, England. The July 10 event is expected to draw more than 200 choir singers from Devon County, England, and will benefit Macmillan Cancer Support, a charitable group that serves those diagnosed with cancer, according to the source.
Choirs will perform Motown, pop, rock and soul music during the concert. The event also includes performances from the Newton Bushel Morris Dancers and a swing band called Spectrum. Activities include a bouncy house, craft booths, food and beverages, and pony rides.
Tours will also be available of Ugbrooke House, the home of Lord and Lady Clifford. Visitors will learn about the family’s history and view furnishings, tapestries, and a historical collection of paintings and military artifacts. The estate is more than 900 years old, featuring lakeside views and an 18th century orangery.
