American Buildings Co. (ABC), a Eufaula, Ala.-based manufacturer of metal building systems for self-storage and other industries, has promoted Craig Olafson to general manager for the South Division. Olafson has worked for the company since 2006, most recently serving as the sales manager of the companys Atlantic Division.
Olafson has more than 25 years of experience in metal-building industry, holding a bachelors degree in business administration and construction management from Minnesota State University in Mankato, Minn. He will be relocating from New York to the company headquarters in Eufaula.
