The Inside Self-Storage (ISS) World Expo, originally scheduled to take place April 6-9, 2021, at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, has been rescheduled to July 13-16 due to the ongoing pandemic and concerns over the health and safety of show participants and the general public. The decision to push back the dates was made in concert with key stakeholders and industry professionals who believe July offers better timing for an in-person event.
“We have a commitment to our attendees and exhibitors to provide a valuable and productive face-to-face experience in 2021, conditions permitting,” said Dana Hicks, show director. “We feel the new July dates will provide everyone with the necessary time to plan effectively and allow us to reimagine ISS for a different time of the year.”
All attendee registrations and exhibit-space bookings will be transferred automatically to the new event dates. Registration for new participants is expected to open in mid-March.
Owned by parent company Informa Markets, the ISS World Expo will be organized in accordance with the company’s AllSecure enhanced health and safety standards, which are designed to “provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at in-person events,” show officials said.
Updates will be posted to the ISS website as well as the ISS World Expo news page as details become available.
The ISS World Expo comprises four days of education, networking and exhibits. Designed for self-storage owners, managers, investors, builders and vendors, it draws thousands of professionals from around the world. Attendees can participate in workshops, seminars, roundtable discussions, open-forum Q&A sessions, vendor presentations, and more.
The event is produced by Inside Self-Storage, which has provided informational resources for the self-storage industry for nearly 30 years. Additional educational offerings from the brand include a monthly magazine, an extensive website, the ISS Store, and Self-Storage Talk, the industry’s largest online community.
