Central Self Storage of Lafayette, Calif., served as a sponsor for the city’s Lafayette Art & Wine Festival, Sept. 17-18. Now in its 21st year, the event typically draws more than 80,000 people, according to its website.
This year’s festival included 250 fine arts and crafts booths, a kid’s area, and food from 20 local restaurants and food trucks. The Premium Wine & Craft Beer Pavilion offered those 21 and over a selection of high-end wines and craft beers from local microbreweries. The event also featured live music acts on four stages. This year’s bands included Bands Evolution, Other People’s Money, Queens & Thieves and SuperHuey.
The festival was voted by readers of “Diablo Magazine” as “Best of the East Bay” in 2015. It promotes the city’s downtown area and raises money for the Lafayette Chamber of Commerce, Lafayette Partners in Education and other local charities, the website states. Attendees enjoy free admission and parking. There’s a separate fee for drinks and the children’s play area.
Central Self Storage operates more than 40 facilities in 11 states. The brand is owned by Pegasus Group, a real estate investment and management company based in Walnut Creek, Calif.
