Atlanta-based Storage Post Self Storage has acquired three facilities in Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties, N.Y. The company now owns 25 properties in the state.
The acquisition includes a Men on the Move Moving & Self Storage facility at 50 Carnation Ave. in Floral Park and another at 280 Broadway in Huntington Station. The third purchase was Storage Town at 1760 Front St. in Yorktown Heights. All are on high-traffic thoroughfares, according to a Storage Post press release. Property amenities include climate control, security measures, and a retail center offering moving and packing supplies.
"This was a great purchase. The properties are in sought-after markets with attractive demographics, and we worked with a quality seller, which facilitated a smooth transaction," said Dylan Delaune, chief operating officer of Storage Post. "The portfolio is irreplaceable, and the high-quality locations will deliver a great product to our customers. We are happy to add these properties into our brand. This is another great deal originated by our director of acquisitions, Jack Giannola."
Headquartered in Atlanta, Storage Post has more than 30 locations in Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, New Jersey and New York. Since 2012, the company has expanded its portfolio with more than 30 acquisitions.
Founded in 1985, Men on the Move has a fleet of moving trucks and another storage facility in Garden City, N.Y.
