The Lock Up is continually looking for new ways to help their customers keep their lives organized ... even outside of their storage units, said Andrea Carnes, vice president of operations.

By installing apps that aid with productivity and efficiency, the Kindle Fire will allow the sweepstakes winners to improve their organizational skills. The Lock Up recommends these apps:

  • Catch, which allows users to set reminders and pin notes to their home screens
  • Cozi, which is designed for family scheduling
  • Springpad, which serves busy business owners

Contestants can enter by liking The Lock Up on Facebook and following on-screen instructions. Those who don't use Facebook can enter by going to ppc.thelockup.com/tap-into-technology.

Kindle Fire winners must redeem prize in person, within 30 days of notification and at the location selected on entry form.

The Lock Up is a Chicago-based self-storage company with 31 facilities nationwide.
