NitNeil Partners, an Atlanta-based investment firm specializing in self-storage, has acquired a property in the North Hyde Park neighborhood of Tampa, Fla., signaling its expansion into the state. The company intends to develop a three-story, 67,000-square-foot facility at 808 Rome Ave. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of the year, according to a company press release.
The property is between downtown and the Westshore District and is in an area undergoing revitalization, the release stated. "We in the neighborhood are excited that NitNeil Partners is building this beautiful storage facility to replace the dilapidated warehouse that previously sat on this site," said Rob Dubsky, a former president of the North Hyde Park Alliance and current neighborhood resident. "With all the apartments being built, businesses moving to the area and the future West Riverfront Plan to the north close to reality, this is the perfect addition to serve both North Hyde Park residents and its bright future."
NitNeil Partners has several other developments underway, including projects in Atlanta; Charleston, S.C.; Durham, N.C.; Louisville, Ky.; and Mt. Pleasant, S.C. It recently completed a facility in Greenville, S.C.
NitNeil Partners is a regional investment firm that specializes in the acquisition, development and management of commercial real estate, including self-storage. The company’s self-storage portfolio comprises more than 1 million square feet and a development pipeline of about 500,000 square feet in eight states, according to the release.
