Neighborhood Storage, a self-storage operator with 19 locations in North-Central Florida, is planning a second expansion to its property at 310 N.E. 25th Ave. in Ocala, Fla. The two-building addition includes new storage units ranging in size from 25 to 300 square feet, according to a company press release. The property was originally constructed in 2008. An expansion in 2011 added 18,000 square feet of storage space in more than 100 units.
"We have seen an increased number of residential and commercial demand for storage in this submarket specifically,” said Marlene Williamson, director of operations. “While the overall Marion County storage market is still recovering, this site, which we consider our flagship, has been able to maintain occupancy during the downturn.”
Facility features include interior, temperature-controlled units as well as exterior units with drive-up access. The property also has computer-controlled gate access, individual access codes and video cameras.
"We have been family-owned and -operated for more than 35 years, and we attribute our growth to the Marion and Ocala County community. We are thankful for our customers," said Todd Rudnianyn, president.
Neighborhood Storage operates facilities in Belleview, Dunnellon, Marion and Ocala County, Fla.
