Hawaii Self Storage is launching a new program as part of its Community Pride outreach initiative. “Rent to Charity” gives customers the option to donate their first month's rent to a nonprofit organization of their choice.
The company also provides scholarships for graduating high school seniors and collects books for Hawaii Literacy's Book Mobile, in addition to supporting several other charities.
"As a locally owned company, we've made it our mission to help the community, and we support programs aimed at enhancing literacy, education and teamwork among Hawaii's youth," said Daniel Ho, president of Hawaii Self Storage. "This is our way of encouraging our customers to follow our lead and get involved, by donating their first month's rent."
Hawaii Self Storage has locations in Pearl City, Salt Lake and Kaimuki, and plans to open two new facilities in Kapolei and Mililani by summer. For more information, visit www.hawaiiselfstorage.net.
