Rescue, Calif.-based GC Storage LLC has purchased a self-storage facility in Cameron Park, Calif., for $2.1 million from CPRS Inc. Cameron Park Rent-A-Storage at 3381 Mira Loma Drive is adjacent to Cameron Airpark, a public-use airport.
The facility comprises just over 18,000 net rentable square feet of storage space in 176 units. Situated on 1.3 acres, it includes eight single-story buildings, asphalt drive aisles and a manager’s office.
GC Storage plans to add capital improvements to the site and hold it as an investment, according to a press release from The Loeffler Self-Storage Group (LSSG), the commercial real estate firm that brokered the transaction. The buyer and the seller were represented in the deal by storage specialists Bobby Loeffler and Tyler Skelly.
LSSG specializes in self-storage real estate in California and Nevada, having closed more than 80 transactions in those states.
