ezStorage Corp., which operates 45 self-storage facilities in Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., is expanding its facility at 10401 Rhode Island Ave. in Beltsville, Md., near College Park, Md., and the state university. The company is adding 223 climate-controlled units in a range of sizes, from 25 to 300 square feet, according to a company press release.
“We will now have the capacity to meet the demands of college students and customers who look to ezStorage first to meet their storage needs,” said president Todd Manganaro.
The expanded 1,236-unit facility is equipped with security features such as 24-hour video surveillance, computer-controlled building and gate access, unit-specific pass codes, and well-lit interior and exterior areas, the release stated.
“ezStorage continues to grow, and we have more stores, expansions and industry-leading improvements on the way,” Manganaro said.
Based in Columbia, Md., ezStorage was founded in 1987. The company’s portfolio comprises more than 41,000 units.
