Andy Clark, owner of All Aboard Storage, is converting a former beverage-distribution center to self-storage in Ormond Beach, Fla. Clark purchased the property at 4 and 70 N. Perrott Drive for $2.3 million, according to the source. The 3.7-acre site operated as S.R. Perrott Inc. until the company moved in 2014 to a newly built facility on U.S. Route 1. S.R. Perrott will lease office space for its headquarters from All Aboard until it constructs workspace at its new distribution center.
The site consists of 63,000 square feet of space in several buildings. Clark plans to build 60,000 square feet of climate-controlled storage as well as outdoor vehicle storage, the source reported. It will be the operator’s 15th property in the state and fourth in Ormond Beach.
The acquisition was made under Granada Depot LLC. Douglas A. Clark is listed as the registered agent for the company, according Bizapedia.com. Buddy Budiansky and Ron Frederick of Prudential Commercial Real Estate FL represented the buyer and the sellers, Gary and Michelle Connors, owners of S.R. Perrott.
