On November 27, Storage Today sponsored a charity golf tournament in support of Future for Kids, an organization dedicated to providing at-risk children education through mentorship and sports programs. The event was held at Las Sends Golf Course in Mesa, Ariz.
In addition, Drew Wildredge, Storage Todays chief financial officer, hit a hole-in-one on the 14th hole?a par-3, 163-yard, uphill shot?with his 8 iron. He won a customized Hummer H3 golf cart, which he says hell use to drive his kids to school.
Storage Today CEO Donald Murney has served on Future for Kids board of directors for 10 years. His company has participated in fundraising for the group for the past six years. Storage Today has also supported charitable organizations such as Special Olympics Arizona, Celebrity Fight Night, Christian Family Care Agency and Banner Health.
Future for Kids provides the opportunity to strengthen and enhance academic, social and athletic skills through guided mentorship. The group recruits, selects, matches, prepares and trains mentors to meet the specific needs of each location.
