Stor-Age Self Storage, a property-management group based in Cape Town, South Africa, collected items for Round Table Cape Town 9, an association that organizes fundraising events and community activities.
The four Stor-Age facilities served as drop-off points and storage for donated items between November 2010 and January 2011. After the drive was completed, Round Table designated an appropriate charity or area and distributed the items. Stor-Age also distributed thousands of pamphlets throughout the City of Cape Town and surrounding areas to promote the project.
The two major beneficiaries of the driver were Dementia SA's Zonnekus Old Age home and Al-Noor Orphanage Centre. Various other community organizations also benefited.
