QuikStor, a self-storage security and software provider, will match customer donations to Kure It Cancer Research dollar for dollar throughout March. The company announced the program to customers through its monthly newsletter. Kure Its mission is to raise awareness and research dollars for underfunded cancers. Since 2007, Kure It has raised more than $1 million for research.
QuikStor customers can make donations through www.kureit.org. Those who type QuikStor Matching in the comment box will have their donations matched by QuikStor. Gifts can be made in any amount, and donors will be issued a tax-deductible receipt by Kure It.
It is important for donors to know that their gift is making a difference. QuikStors customers will have the satisfaction of knowing that just by donating in March, their gift will have double the impact, said Karen Jones, Kure Its director. We are tremendously grateful to QuikStor and their customers for their commitment to fund groundbreaking research.
I hope a lot of people will take advantage of this opportunity, said Shaina Cossairt, a QuikStor senior account representative. We have wanted to get more involved with Kure It for some time now, and it just seemed right to involve our customers, as well, for an even greater outcome.
Founded by self-storage industry veteran Barry Hoeven after his diagnosis with kidney cancer, Kure It supports research on kidney cancer and other underfunded cancers at institutions across the United States.
QuikStor offers self-storage management software, access control, video surveillance, wireless door alarms and digital video products to facility operators.
