USSelfStorage.com LLC, a shopping-comparison website for self-storage consumers, is supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month by raising donations and public awareness. For every storage unit or vehicle-storage space rented through the website this month, the company will donate a portion of its revenue to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
In addition, USSelfStorage.com made changes to its website, trading its green logo for pink, the color of breast-cancer awareness, and inserting pink breast-cancer ribbons on its Web pages and some of its social media channels.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is one of many charitable causes to which the company will contribute this year, according to a press release. “We are raising awareness for the community and assisting in a good cause that needs the support, and we're happy to contribute,” said Victor Dante, CEO and company founder.
Since its inception in 1982, Susan G. Komen for the Cure has become the largest and most widely-known breast-cancer organization in the United States, raising money for education, research, advocacy, health services and social-support programs in the U.S. It also works through partnerships in more than 50 countries.
USSelfStorage.com enables customers to compare facilities, unit sizes, monthly rates and discounts at more than 10,000 storage facilities nationwide. Consumers are able book a unit online or through the call center for free. Headquartered in North Miami Beach, Fla., the company offers software integration with all major property-management systems and uses real-time reservation data.
